Da sehnalare al terzo turno di gioco si è registrato lo straordinario stop - più unico che raro - del GMI Alexander Georgiev, sconfitto dal connazionale russo Ainur Shaibakov. Il torneo è stato davvero equilibrato tanto che ben sette giocatori sono giunti a 12 punti, in testa separati solo dal quoziente. La vittoria finale è andata al russo Alexey Chizhov, davanti al connazionale Alexander Getmanski ed al camerunense Jean Marc Ndjofang. Tra gli italiani bene Michele Borghettigiunto a soli due punti di distacco dalla vetta, nel gruppo dei primi per tutto il torneo. Nel torneo Blitz ha vinto Alexander Getmanski (RUS), davanti a Jean Marc Ndjofang (CAM) e Amrillaew Mourodullo (RUS). To note what happened at the third round of the tournament, with the extraordinary stop - more unique than rare - of the GMI Alexander Georgiev, who was defeated by compatriot Russian Ainur Shaibakov. The tournament has been really balanced up to the point that seven players have reached the head of standings with 12 points, separated only by the quotient. The final victory has been of the Russian Alexey Chizhov, ahead of the countryman Alexander Getmanski and the Cameroonian Jean Marc Ndjofang. Among Italians good performance of Michele Borghetti just two points off the top, in the top group for the entire tournament. In the Blitz tournament the victory has gone to Alexander Getmanski (RUS), runner up Jean Marc Ndjofang (CAM) and third place for Amrillaew Mourodullo (RUS).
